We understand

Back pain shouldn't cost a fortune — or a year of waiting.

Getting the spine care you need in the U.S. can mean high costs, long delays and endless insurance hurdles.

  • Surgery costs that can reach tens of thousands of dollars.
  • Months of waiting to see a specialist — while the pain gets worse.
  • Insurance denials, prior authorizations and surprise bills.
  • Being bounced from doctor to doctor with no clear answer.
Why Brazil

A leading destination for spine care.

Brazil is one of the world's top destinations for medical travel. Treat with one of the country's most respected spine surgeons, in São Paulo — with direct flights from major U.S. cities, modern endoscopic technique, and transparent, up-front pricing.

Advanced care, without the waiting lists and the insurance runaround.

Advanced technology

Endoscopic spine surgery: the smallest incision, the fastest recovery.

Video-endoscopic surgery treats the source of your pain through an incision smaller than 1 cm — no large cuts, no long scars.

Incision under 1 cm

A minimally invasive approach that preserves the muscles and structures around the spine.

Light anesthesia

A more comfortable procedure with less impact on your body than open surgery.

Same-day discharge*

In most cases, recovery is fast and you return to your routine in a short time.

*Candidacy, technique and recovery time are determined case by case, after reviewing your imaging.

Frequently asked

Everything you need to know

How long do I need to stay in Brazil?

It depends on your case. Endoscopic surgery often allows same-day discharge and a fast recovery, but Dr. Diogo defines the ideal length of stay after reviewing your imaging — planned around your trip.

Do I need an MRI first?

Ideally a recent MRI. It's what lets us evaluate your case remotely, before you travel. If you don't have one, we'll guide you on how to get it.

What about the language?

Our patient coordination supports you in English throughout your journey. Dr. Diogo and his team are experienced in caring for patients traveling from abroad.

Is it safe to fly after surgery?

When you can fly home is decided individually by Dr. Diogo, based on your procedure and your recovery.

How does payment work?

Care in São Paulo is self-pay, with transparent pricing shared up front — no surprise bills and no insurance runaround.
